Meyn Holding B.V. has come to an agreement to acquire all the activities of Systemate Group B.V. Meyn offers its customers processing solutions throughout the entire process. Systemate’s subsidiary, Dapec, is known for its cut-up lines and associated systems. The combination of the two companies offers customers a competitive and complete product portfolio supported by a strong local presence.

Northland Industries, a quality assurance and R&D lab for the food industry, has announced the adoption of the Patharix system from Matrix MicroScience for its routine pathogen testing. Northland is the first independent testing lab to use this technology in routing pathogen testing for the food industry. The Salmonella, Listeria, and E. coli O157:H7 products are AOAC-RI approved for a variety of food types, including difficult sample matrices.

Hollymatic has announced that the Hollymatic Super portioning machine with Serial No. 65000 recently rolled off the company’s assembly line. The Super, with its current basic design, was introduced in 1954. The first serial number was 2000.
