As comfort foods and items like SPAM® are flying off supermarket shelves, HORMEL® MARY KITCHEN® hash has more to celebrate than just great sales. This timeless brand celebrates its 60th anniversary this year, proof of its staying power as a beloved staple at American dining tables.

To celebrate the 60th anniversary, Hormel Foods is releasing limited edition 60th anniversary packaging which includes the first-ever image of the famous “Mary Kitchen.” They’re also promoting both retro and modern recipes on-pack, including:

  • BBQ Cheese Hashburgers
  • Hash Filet Mignon
  • Confetti Hash Peppers
  • Old fashioned Hash Omelet
  • Glorified Hash

HORMEL® Mary Kitchen® hash is a blend of tender meat with firm potatoes and a touch of bold seasonings offered in three mouth-watering varieties: Roast Beef, Corned Beef and Reduced Fat Corned Beef. Today, MARY KITCHEN® hash is still a staple on many grocery lists.

HORMEL® MARY KITCHEN® hash has seen hungry Americans through five wars, 12 Presidents and more than 66,000 meals. Millions of cans have been sold in the U.S. since 1949, the year it was brought to market as the first nationally distributed hash brand. Sixty years later, HORMEL® MARY KITCHEN® hash is still breaking sales records quarter after quarter, proving that it remains a favorite among families throughout the country.
