Ossid, powered by Pro Mach, hired Robert McLaughlin as Regional Sales Manager for the company. His primary role will be to oversee Ossid’s sales efforts in the lower Midwest and Latin America.

Since 2004, McLaughlin managed international sales for UltraSource LLC, a provider of such packaging equipment as modified atmosphere tray sealers and vacuum chamber machines. McLaughlin also worked as a project manager for Tomahawk Construction and as International Application Engineer, Export Sales, for SPX Cooling Technologies.

Fluent in Spanish, McLaughlin taught the language for two years at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, where he also received his Bachelor of Arts degree. He earned a Master of Business Administration from Baker University, Overland Park, Kan.

“We are adding senior sales personnel to accommodate growing demand for our products and services,” said Jason Angel, Vice President of Sales, Ossid. “Robert’s extensive sales experience in the packaging industry and his ability to communicate well with our customers in Latin America make him ideal for this position.”
