JTM Food Group, a national leader in the creation of fully cooked menu solutions for the foodservice industry, broke ground today on a new manufacturing plant at its headquarters in Harrison, Ohio. The new facility will increase capacity as JTM continues to expand its reach, which now includes thousands of schools, restaurants, military and government organizations, food distributors and retailers throughout North America. The new facility will be supported by a state-of-the art distribution center. Construction on the distribution center began in August of 2016.
Dozens of JTM employees and members of the Maas family gathered to celebrate with a ceremony and reception at the proposed plant site on Industrial Drive in Harrison. The Most Reverend Dennis Schnurr, Archbishop of the Archdiocese of Cincinnati, kicked off the ceremony by blessing the site, family and JTM’s staff members on hand. The four Maas brothers who own JTM Food Group – Tony, Jack, Joe and Jerry – lifted the first shovels of dirt to officially kick off the new construction project.
