A meat market that has been a Rochester institution since 1949 is set for a grand “re-opening” following a large renovation project – even though it never actually closed. Features already added include a seafood case, an expanded deli and more produce, reports the Democrat & Chronicle. The new look has befuddled some longtime customers, said co-owner Cindy DiCarlo.
