Multivac Inc., a leading global supplier of packaging solutions for perishable food products, has named Michael Brandes regional sales manager for its Food Division. Brandes will serve customers in a newly created sales territory covering southern California, the southern tip of Nevada and the entire state of Arizona. He will report to Gregg Poffenbarger, sales manager, Western Division, Multivac, Inc.

Brandes joins Multivac from Thermo Fisher Scientific, where he worked as a west coast regional sales manager. He has over 18 years of sales experience in the packaging industry.

“Michael Brandes is an outstanding addition to Multivac’s food division,” says Poffenbarger. “He brings a diversity of experience working with clients across a broad array of industries, and understands the complexities of providing the kind of comprehensive, turn-key packaging solutions Multivac is offering our customers. Brandes will work out of his home office in southern California. He assumes his new role effective immediately.
