Bettcher Industries Inc. is pleased to announce that Zach Van Horn has joined the company as Regional Manager. In this position, Van Horn will be responsible for sales and service activities for Bettcher’s Whizard Trimmer and AirShirz scissors product lines, supporting Bettcher’s meat processing customers in Eastern and Central Iowa plus Illinois.

 Van Horn comes to Bettcher Industries with a background in the meat processing and construction equipment industries. Prior to joining Bettcher Industries, he was a territory manager for Robert Reiser & Co., serving customers in the Upper Midwest including the states of Iowa, Illinois, the Dakotas and Nebraska. He has also served as a strategic account manager for Marel Townsend Further Processing.

 Prior to his work in the meat processing industry, Van Horn held field sales and service positions with two firms in the construction equipment field: Rexco Equipment and Sunbelt Rentals. An Iowa native, Van Horn holds a B.A. degree from the University of Northern Iowa.
