Hickory Nut Gap expands its line of retail-packaged 100% grass-fed, regeneratively raised ground beef products.

The June 2024 average price for all types of ground beef sold at retail was $5.71 a pound, 5% higher than a year ago.

There have been no confirmed reports of adverse reactions due to consumption of these products.

Looking at the 52-week period from November 2022 to November 2023, fresh beef prices averaged $6.19 per pound.

Approximately 563 pounds of ground beef products may be contaminated with E. coli O103.

Approximately 5,620 pounds of raw ground beef products may be contaminated with a foreign object.

Approximately 58,281 pounds of ground beef products may be contaminated with Shiga toxin-producing E. coli O103.

Recall is due to possible E. coli O157:H7 contamination.

The raw ground beef burger products that may be contaminated with extraneous materials, specifically pieces of white neoprene.

The packaging’s airtight environment helps maintain color and freshness and allows for a product to be frozen without impacting quality.
