Program Overview
At the National Conference for Agribusiness, Purdue agribusiness faculty will lead a meaningful and directed exploration of what drives loyalty and decision making in commercial production operations. Using data uncovered through the Large Commercial Producer Project, our team of faculty researchers will discuss the practical implications of changing commercial producer attitudes, preferences and buying behaviors.

- About the Large Commercial Producer Project
- The Large Commercial Producer Project is a nationwide survey of the buying behaviors of more than 2,500 commercial farmers and ranchers. Conducted every five years by the Center for Food and Agricultural Business at Purdue University, the project explores the fundamental attitudes underlying the buying behavior of producers: critical information for input suppliers and first-handlers as they craft their marketing and sales strategies. Now in its fifth cycle, the survey also tracks changes in producer behavior over time.
