The American Meat Institute Foundation (AMIF) announced that the AMIF Environmental Conference for the Meat and Poultry Industry will take place on Jan. 26, 2015, at the Georgia World Congress Center, in Atlanta, Georgia, collocated with the 2015 International Production & Processing Expo (IPPE).   

The Environmental Conference for the Meat and Poultry Industry, formerly held in conjunction with AMIF’s Conference on Worker Safety, Human Resources and the Environment, will address key environmental issues facing the industry, including resource conservation, greenhouse gas emissions and waste management. The conference will include the AMI Environmental Recognition and Achievement Awards, which will be presented at an evening reception on Monday, Jan. 26, 2015. 

Registration for the AMIF Environmental Conference for the Meat and Poultry Industry is $299 per person, and will include admission to IPPE, the largest annual feed, meat and poultry industry trade show. To register to attend, and for more information, visit the conference website.
