March 6, 2013

Gainco DaleyGainco Inc., a U.S.-based manufacturer of weighing, packaging, food inspection and other yield enhancement systems for the meat, poultry and seafood processing industries, announces the appointment of John Daley as the company’s new Director of Sales & Marketing.

In this position, Daley will direct Gainco’s worldwide sales and marketing activities, including the development of sales strategies, business development efforts and key account support.

Daley brings nearly 25 years of sales strategy and business development experience to his new post.  His background and capabilities include national and international sales management, territory management, and key account management as well as sales staff development and marketing.

Prior to joining Gainco, Daley held a variety of sales management and business development positions for several industry-leading equipment manufacturers.  Most recently, he served as the southeast area sales manager for GEA Food Solutions (formerly CFS).

Daley also served as a managing director of Matrix Packaging Machinery, where he successfully built a worldwide sales and distribution network for the company’s products.   He also held several domestic and international sales positions at Kliklok Corporation (part of The Woodman Company).

Daley holds a B.S. degree in electronic engineering technology from Southern Polytechnic State University in Marietta, GA and an M.S. degree in Management from Georgia State University in Atlanta.

Commenting on the appointment of Daley, Joe Cowman, president, said, “John brings extensive experience and a solid record of accomplishment to his new position, as well as to our company.  He has a proven track record of building and maintaining solid sales teams that serve clients and help them improve their plant efficiencies, productivity and real-time information reporting capabilities.  We are pleased to welcome him to Gainco.”
