Conveyor Belt
Ashworth’s Advantage metal/plastic belts have earned NSF certification for use in poultry and meat-processing facilities. Along with that certification comes approval from the U.S. Department of Agriculture, as the USDA uses the NSF standards as its sole basis for acceptance of conveyor belts. The belts are designed so that air can flow easily through the belt, resulting in shorter dwell times, faster freezing, greater throughput and less energy consumption.

When a processor needs a conveyor in the middle of a high-traffic area or in front of a working doorway, Dorner offers several solutions. Dorner can attach a lift gate mechanism to a gravity conveyor and mount it to an LPZ Series conveyor, which allows the gravity roller conveyor to lift upwards. It also offers pivot conveyors, which are on casters and allow the conveyor to swing to one side, permitting access through the line.
