Sadler's Smokehouse Ltd. reduces the sodium content in two product lines



Sadler’s Smokehouse Ltd., Frisco, Texas, is significantly reducing the sodium content in its Dinner for Two and new Slow Roasted Meals entrées. The supplier also will soon launch new packaging to identify its gluten-free offerings. Dinner for Two, a line of fully cooked heat-and-serve meals in 20-ounce packages, will have 13 to 52 percent less sodium. Selections include Sliced Beef Brisket, Seasoned Pork Loin, Pit-Soaked Pork Loin and Sliced Center Cut Pork Loin. The suggested retail price is $5.99 to $6.99. Slow Roasted Meals entrées have sodium levels of 360 to 600 milligrams. Selections, which are merchandised in 17-ounce packages, include Beef Roast, Pork Roast and Beef Tips.
