Cantrell adds Vertical Machining Center and Lathe to production department

Cantrell continues to ramp up its production capabilities with the purchase of more manufacturing equipment.
The company recently added an Okuma Vertical Machining Center and Okuma Lathe to meet demands for Cantrell equipment and spare parts.

“The equipment we have installed enables Cantrell to continue to supply quality equipment and parts to the processing industry in a timely manner,” Cantrell General Manager Finance/Operation Tony Rice said. “These new machines will improve accuracy, efficiency, volume and overall quality in the manufacturing process.”

The Okuma Vertical Machining Center makes high precision cuts on a variety of materials while doubling productivity. The Okuma Lathe turning center is used for cutting, turning and drilling metal in the production of parts for Cantrell machines and the company’s spare parts department.

In the last three years, Cantrell had added an Accurshear and Accupress, along with a Haas Turning Center and a Haas Machining Center.
