Arrowsight Inc. has opened a new, state-of-the-art Network Operations Center for its Remote Video Auditing service in Huntsville, Ala. The 6,200-square-foot facility is the centerpiece of Arrowsight’s remote video auditing service. It enables the monitoring of employee operations at critical control points within a processing plant, 24 hours a day. By remotely viewing and reporting back to management, Arrowsight helps improve plant performance, quality, security, biosecurity deterrence and employee safety.

The U.S. Department of Defense has awarded a four-year contract with CSB-System International Inc. for supplying a fully integrated business software solution for the Central Meat Processing Plant in Ramstein Air Force Base, Germany. The plant provides retail cuts of fresh beef and pork to 59 commissaries, nine Nexmarts and numerous DOD and State Department activities in Europe, Africa and southwest Asia. It produces 500,000 hamburger patties, 41,000 steaks, 25,000 roasts and 69,000 pounds of spiced beef and pork each month.
