McDonald’s USA president to leave company

McDonald’s announced that the president of McDonald’s USA will leave the company effective Dec. 1. Jan Fields, 57, who has been with McDonald’s more than 35 years, will be succeed by Jeff Stratton, currently global chief restaurant officer, reports the Chicago Sun-Times.

“We appreciate and salute Jan for more than three decades of inspired leadership and impactful service under the Arches,” said McDonald’s President and CEO Don Thompson in a statement.
