Slideways Custom Profiles components are fabricated to specification in small runs to eliminate the need for extrusion tooling and long lead times. Typical wear-resistant materials include oil-filled UHMW, UHMW-HT for 275 degree service, glass-filled PTFE for -350 to 500 degree applications, oil-filled or MD-Nylon, and Eratalyte® TX for resistance to bleach and other harsh chemicals. Suitable for a wide range of processing, packaging, and conveying applications, Slideways Custom Profiles are offered in sizes from 1.25 inches to 12 inches wide and up to 20 feet long, with tolerances to plus or minus 0.005 of an inch; depending upon configuration. Specializing in FDA/USDA-compliant wear parts, industries served include food-, poultry-, meat-, chemical-, and pharmaceutical processing.
