As the new International Business Director for Cambridge Engineered Solutions (CES), Marcel Kloesmeijer has already begun prioritizing his goals, bringing his skills and talents to CES operations.

Marcel, a native of The Netherlands, enthusiastically embraces the challenge of expanding relationships with agents, OEMs, and end-users, developing international manufacturing opportunities through strategic partnerships and acquisitions.

“My knowledge of the different social and business cultures, as well as my fluency in different languages, will help create a better and larger international agent network and customer base,” Marcel says. “Having worked in the food processing industry for over 20 years, I have a strong affinity to technical products and solutions.”

Marcel graduated from European University cum laude in 1989, and received his MBA the following year from the same school. He has spent the last 20 years working in the food processing and renewable energy industries. “My experience is not limited to food processing,” he says, “but includes environmental technologies, like waste water treatment and renewable energies such as wind turbines and solar panels.”

Marcel will be based in a newly-established branch office in the Netherlands, supported by the international sales team in Cambridge, MD. His extensive experience providing services to the snack, poultry, and frozen food markets, as well as managing sales teams and agent networks, will allow him to develop and expand the international sales team based in the Netherlands.

“We are delighted that Marcel is joining the team,” says Tracy Tyler, President and CEO of Cambridge International, the parent company of Cambridge Engineered Solutions. “We are confident in his abilities and foresee this to be an effective solution to provide the best possible service to our international customers.”

Marcel enjoys photography of nature and architecture, as well as being outdoors. Currently, Marcel is training to run his second marathon. He brings that sense of diligence and achievement to his inspiring outlook for the CES international team. “Although we sell stainless steel, it is a people business that we’re in,” Marcel says.
