WASHINGTON – The E. coli O157:H7 Conference for Beef Further Processors has gained more sponsors in both trade media and industry groups. Early registration for the conference ends Aug. 22.

The North American Meat Processor Association (NAMP) said Monday that the American Meat Science Association (AMSA) signed up as a sponsor as have trade magazines such as Independent Provisioner, National Provisioner and Urner Barry’s The Reporter.

Government, university, trade association and commercial authorities participating in the program include Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS), The International HACCP Alliance, National Cattlemen’s Beef Association (NCBA), Texas A & M, American Foodservice and Standard Meat Company.

The conference is Sept.16 through 17 at the Sheraton Four Points Chicago O’Hare.
