Hall-of-Famer Seng is the recently retired president and CEO of the U.S. Meat Export Federation.

Members of the incoming Class are Jeffrey Ettinger, Dr. A. Dewey Bond, Donnie Smith, John Jacobson, Clarence Knebel, Ralph Stayer and Ed Woods.

Members of the Class of 2017 will be announced on July 15.

This annual event honors individuals whose vision, skill and dedication have shaped and sustained the meat and poultry industry as the leading sector of North American food production.

Seven distinguished new members will be inducted.

Nominations for the next class are due by March 18.

New members inducted during a gala ceremony at the Fairmont Hotel in Washington, D.C.

Stenholm was a member of the United States House of Representatives serving 13 terms, from 1979 to 2005.
