McDonald's USA makes a strong investment in regenerative agriculture through the launch of the Grassland Resilience and Conservation Initiative.

The benefits from this partnership will help support thousands of cattle producers across the country as they implement voluntary practices that will help benefit hundreds of species.

The grants will generate $2.5 million in matching contributions for a total conservation impact of $4 million.

Up to $5M in funding will be provided through the partnership which has the potential to sequester up to 360,000 metric tons of carbon per year—enough carbon to offset the energy needed to power 43,000 U.S. homes for one year.
