Cantrell has named Larry Ayers to a newly created position of Manager for Electronics/Information Technology.
In his new position, Ayers handles a wide range of responsibilities. He is involved in the production and testing of all electrical components for Cantrell equipment and creation of electrical schematics, diagrams, operating and installation instructions.

Ayers coordinates with the Purchasing Department for all electrical component purchases and with the Service Department for electrical component installations. In addition, he provides IT assistance, maintenance and updates for the company.

“Larry’s background makes him a perfect fit for this new position,” said Tony Rice, Cantrell General Manager Finance/Operation. “Through his previous position as Engineering Manager, Larry worked closely in the development of our electronic components. In addition, he has been handling our IT needs for many years.”

Ayers has more than 20 years of management, production and poultry processing experience. The Southern College of Technology graduate has been with Cantrell for 17 years. He most recently served as Engineering Manager.
