State Association Events for 2018

December 13, 2017

Even in the age of the Internet, with a wealth of information at one’s fingertips, there are many good reasons to get out of the office to attend a conference or a trade show for a couple of days. There are networking and educational opportunities that can’t be gained from working in front of a computer or on a production floor. The American Association of Meat Processors’ national convention (July 19-21, 2018 in Kansas City) is a highlight of the convention season, but many of AAMP’s affiliated state associations have their own trade shows as well.

See below for a list of state conventions taking place in 2018, and start making your travel plans. Many of these events include a trade show, a cured meats competition, updates from AAMP executives and educational sessions, as well as social events.
