Mark Singleton, Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Rudolph Foods Company has been newly appointed to St. Christopher Truckers Relief Fund’s Board of Directors. Singleton’s appointment is a result of the passion he has for the industry. Through this appointment, the Board also expands the expertise brought to the table by each of its members, all leaders in their respective fields. Singleton maintains his current board position on Gridiron Great Assistance Fund’s Board in an effort to continue expanding his influence and good will to industries beyond food.

Most recently, Singleton also served as a Chairman of the Snack Food Association, drawing on his experience to create a larger platform for pork rind snacks as the food industry evolves. As a Chairman, Singleton was a voice for the snack food industry before government and provided support to the association’s members through research, education and promotion.

“It’s my hope that my experience in the food trucking industry will add a valuable perspective for the St. Christopher Truckers Relief Fund’s Board and draw attention to the truck drivers and their families who have financial needs due to current medical problems,” shared Singleton. “In my tenure at Rudolph Foods, the company has always demonstrated its willingness to serve each facet of our industry, including the trucking community, and I look forward to serving this organization in a unique way, as I have strived to do in my current board position with Gridiron Greats Assistance Fund.”

As the vice president of sales and marketing at Rudolph Foods Company, the world’s largest manufacturer of pork rinds, Singleton has accumulated diverse experience in sales, marketing and business development. Joining the company in 2003, Singleton has helped to grow the Rudolph Foods brands, including Southern Recipe, Southern Recipe Small Batch, Pepe’s, Lee’s pork rinds and Gaslamp Popcorn. Preceding his position at Rudolph Foods, Singleton served as the President of Cantrell International, adding 12 years to his total 26 years in the food industry.

Most notably, he helped to pioneer National Pork Rind Appreciation Day by getting the governor to recognize the first Sunday in February as such. As a result of his work, Rudolph Foods partners with the Gridiron Greats Assistance Fund annually to advocate for retired National Football League (NFL) players in dire need as well as for National Pork Rind Appreciation Day.
