Thomas Ivy, Middleby president of the F.R. Drake Company (Drake), expands his role beyond Drake to include management of CVP Systems (modified atmosphere, bulk and case ready packaging) and RapidPak (horizontal form-fill-seal packaging). Current president of CVP, Chris Van Wandelen, plans to retire in mid-2018. Likewise, Vice President Sales and Marketing of RapidPak, Daryl Shackelford, plans to retire later in 2018.

Ivy came to Middleby in 2012 with extensive background in the food processing and packaging industry. Now, bringing over two decades packaging / automatic loading experience, Ivy’s leadership provides a perspective that comes with in-depth involvement in all aspects of packaging systems sales, equipment manufacture, technical support and operations oversight. Middleby Food Processing Group is committed to growing its three brands synergistically within this important segment as well as acquiring additional packaging machinery and ancillary lines.
