Provisur Technologies Inc., a leading global provider of high performance food processing equipment, has announced the appointment of Tom Van Doorn to sales manager, Slicing North America. A proven leader with more than 25 years of food industry experience, Van Doorn brings an impressive record of accomplishments to Provisur characterized by business growth, world-class customer service and team building, the company said in a statement.

Provisur said that Van Doorn's knowledge of slicing and food manufacturing equipment, from processing through packaging, will serve his customers well, as he has a solid history of key accomplishments with major food processing companies. He comes to Provisur with broad commercial experience with companies such as Convenience Food Systems (CFS), Weber, and Cryovac. Throughout his career, Van Doorn has been known as an innovator and problem solver, fully supported by his BS, Mechanical Engineering from Auburn University and an AA, Mathematics/Biology/Chemistry from Emory University, Oxford Campus.
