Mettler-Toledo Safeline (www.mt.com/pi), the leading manufacturer of metal detection and x-ray inspection equipment, today announced that Harry D. Seibert is joining the company as Head of Sales for the United States.

A seasoned sales executive with a diverse background of industrial business-to-business experience, Seibert comes to Mettler-Toledo Safeline from Polypore International, Inc. where he held the position of Vice President of Global Sales and Business Development for the Daramic lead-acid separator business.

Prior to joining Polypore, Seibert progressed through a number of sales, marketing and management positions at Avery Dennison, a global leader in labeling and packaging materials and solutions, and with Michelman Inc., a global developer of water-based coatings for the paper and packaging industry and surface modifiers, additives and polymers for numerous industries.
