Over 1,100 exhibitors, 400,000 net square feet of exhibit space at 2014 IPPE

The 2014 International Production & Processing Expo (IPPE) has surpassed 1,100 exhibitors, covering more than 400,000 net square feet of exhibit space. Comprised of the three integrated tradeshows – International Poultry Expo, International Feed Expo, and International Meat Expo – IPPE is still growing with seven more weeks remaining until the show opens.

The global annual poultry, feed and meat industry trade show will be held at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta, Ga., from Tuesday through Thursday, Jan. 28-30, 2014. The Expo will highlight the latest technology, equipment and services used in the production and processing of poultry, meat and feed products. 

Online is the only way to pre-register for the discounted price of $50 (USD) through December 31, 2013.  After December 31, 2013, the registration fee will increase to $70. IPPE would like to remind everyone to bring their registration confirmation with them to the show.

The week of Jan. 27-31, 2014, will feature dynamic education programs addressing current industry issues. The International Poultry Scientific Forum, Sanitary Equipment Design Principles, Pet Food Conference, Media Training for the Meat and Poultry Industry and Animal Agricultural Sustainability Summit will kick of the week’s education programs. A Beef Plant Tour and Poultry Plant Tour are scheduled for Monday, and several Tech XChange programs will also be offered on Tuesday and Wednesday. In addition, the Current Issues for the Egg Industry and theInternational Rendering Symposium education programs will return for 2014.

IPPE will also feature several new educational programs, including important sessions on food safety, consumer trends and international trade. New for 2014 are the following programs: New Approaches to Ground Poultry Pathogen Reduction; Traceability Workshop; Poultry Market Intelligence Forum; Antibiotic Use in the Meat and Poultry Industry; AFIA International Feed Education Program; VIV International Pork Production Summit; How to Export Feed & Feed Ingredients to the U.S.; Fall Protection Short Course; Biosecurity – Revisiting the Basics and Implementing New Strategies; Meat & Poultry Research Showcase; Best New Products; Changing Food Safety Landscape; Health & Wellness Trends; andCustomer and Media Communication in the Meat Industry.

2014 IPPE SHOW HOURS:

Tuesday, Jan. 28, 2014: 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.

Wednesday, Jan. 29, 2014: 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.

Thursday, Jan. 30, 2014: 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.
