Program Overview

At the National Conference for Agribusiness, Purdue agribusiness faculty will lead a meaningful and directed exploration of what drives loyalty and decision making in commercial production operations. The conference will examine several key themes emerging from the data, including:

  • Importance of the dealer and the salesperson in the buying decision
  • About the Large Commercial Producer Project

Conducted every five years by the Center for Food and Agricultural Business at Purdue University, the project explores the fundamental attitudes underlying the buying behavior of producers: critical information for input suppliers and first-handlers as they craft their marketing and sales strategies.
