Arby's to air commercial about brisket smoking... for 13 hours

Arby’s will make history this weekend when they air a 13-hour television commercial of just its brisket smoking in a smoker for 13 long hours. On Saturday, May 24, beginning at 1 p.m. CT on My9 in Duluth, Minn., residents will see no bells, no whistles, just pure meat sitting in a smoker in all of its delicious glory.

Along the way, the commercial will set a Guinness World Record for the longest television commercial ever aired.

For all other meat enthusiasts, Arby’s will air an encore at 13hourbrisket.comon Wednesday, May 28, featuring $20,000 in barbecue-themed prize giveaways, including thirteen $1,300 cash prizes, smokers, barbecue books and cooking utensils.
