SEALPAC, the leading supplier of modern tray-sealing and thermoforming technology, will be presenting a wide range of innovative packaging solutions and international trends at Anuga FoodTec. This leading exhibition in Cologne (Germany), covering an area of around 127,000 square meters, will once again provide answers to all packaging issues concerning food and drink. Apart from our high-tech equipment, focus at the SEALPAC stand (B60/C61 in hall 8.1) will be on the latest convenience solutions for ovenable and microwavable food products. Furthermore, we are proud to have won an international award for our EasyLid system, which we will officially receive during the exhibition.

SEALPAC wins International FoodTec Award 2015

Even before the exhibition opened, SEALPAC already became the proud winner of an award from the organization. Our EasyLid system has been announced as winner of the International FoodTec Award 2015, which will officially be handed out during the exhibition. EasyLid is an innovative seal & lid on one solution, which provides full lid functionality in just one single step. As such, it requires less consumables and provides more efficiency in production. Supported by the German Agricultural Society (DLG), the award is handed out every three years to innovative projects within the international food industry.

Our 'Supermarket of innovations‘ offers a comprehensive insight into the very latest trends that are anticipated in the international marketplace. In a realistic retail environment, we will showcase exclusive packaging innovations from around the world, all produced on SEALPAC traysealers and thermoformers. This will allow our visitors to personally experience the quality, functionality and looks of different packaging solutions, as well as get inspired by their unique and effective presentation at retail. Going one step further, in a special section of its supermarket, SEALPAC will be showing 3D models that will give visitors an idea of the packaging systems of the future.

Ovenable and microwavable solutions – fast, hot and high quality

In its 'Smart Packaging Inspirations' area, SEALPAC will also present the latest trends in ovenable and microwavable packaging. The demand for these convenience products, which save time and provide practical handling, continues to grow. Modern solutions, that allow you to place the product in its packaging directly in the oven or microwave, are on the rise. A variety of film and valve solutions, combined with our latest packaging technology, for example, allow for gentle steam cooking or grilling directly inside the pack. Modern technology and innovative materials have allowed the sector to develop packaging systems that meet highest standards with regard to the taste and appearance of convenience products.
