Kretschmar Premium Deli Meats launches new country music campaign

By Industry News
March 12, 2015

Kretschmar Premium Deli Meats and Cheeses is building on its commitment to quality and excellence. The company has enlisted rising country music stars Ruthie Collins, Elizabeth Huett and Cheryl LuQuire as brand ambassadors for 2015. The artists will be featured in The Kretschmar Future Legends of Country promotion throughout 2015 and will make appearances on behalf of the brand and retail partners.

"We're very proud and excited to add Ruthie, Elizabeth and Cheryl to our lineup," said Mike Sargent, brand manager, Kretschmar Deli. "This allows Kretschmar to provide our customers with access to some amazing country music experiences. The Future Legends of Country are a wonderful addition to our team and will certainly complement our plans with energy and enthusiasm."

A native of Fredonia, NY, Ruthie Collins has been pursuing her musical passion since the age of 3, when she began playing piano and violin. After studying at Berklee College of Music, Collins followed her heart to Nashville to pursue her career as a singer and songwriter. She released her debut single "Ramblin' Man" last year and it was picked up as a SiriusXM Highway Find and shot into the station's Hot 45 Countdown.

Elizabeth Huett is a singer and songwriter from Riverside, Calif. She moved to Nashville at age 21 and has been leaving her mark on the Music City ever since. Her talents landed her the role as a background vocalist on Taylor Swift's album "Speak Now," supporting songs "Speak Now," "Mean," and "Superman." Huett is signed to Warner Chappell Publishing and is currently in the studio recording her debut EP.

Cheryl LuQuire never doubted her career path as a country artist. Claiming she could sing before she could talk, LuQuire has been belting out tunes of southern rock, country and the blues from her hometown of Meridian, Miss., all the way to Nashville. LuQuire is signed with Sony/ATV Music Publishing and recently put out the single "Like A Girl," which was released in August, 2014.

All three artists will be extensively involved with Kretschmar public relations and marketing activity during 2015, which will include song download access on the Kretschmar Facebook page, radio remote appearances, and local concerts. Kretschmar will kick off a consumer sweepstakes in March where consumers can enter for a chance to win a legendary country music experience. Stay tuned for more details on this exciting sweepstakes and opportunity.
