Horizon Bradco has acquired Burke Food Equipment, Inc., expanding its presence in the Southeast. The acquisition brings together two strategically aligned businesses to better support supermarkets and other customers in the region. The acquisition provides Horizon Bradco with a physical location in South Carolina and an expanded service network.

The acquisition follows other recent investments including a facility in South Florida and the Foley & Wallace acquisition in Massachusetts.

J.D. Burke, founder of Burke Food Equipment, Inc. brings complementary experience as an equipment distributor and service provider. He has extensive experience in technical service, sales, and customer support. The Burke Food Equipment office in Spartanburg South Carolina will remain to better serve the Southeast Region.
