KM Packaging quick off the blocks with senior double hire
KM Packaging Services, international developer and supplier of innovative food packaging solutions, has made a racing start to 2016 with the appointment of two new senior members of staff, John Shipley and Nigel Down as business development manager and technical services manager respectively.
Between them, John and Nigel bring over five decades of experience in the packaging sector to KM’s highly skilled team. Taking over responsibility for some existing UK and export customers, John will also help to grow the business internationally. John has particular experience in film and pouch conversion for FMCG markets across Northern Europe which will support KM’s ongoing growth in these sectors, especially in the development of pre-made pouches.
Nigel has joined KM’s team to provide technical support to the company’s sales team and its customers, with particular focus on new product development and applications. Previous roles have helped Nigel to hone his expertise in lidding film, retort laminates and pouches on both research and commercial sides of the fence.
