Sioux all-electric pressure washer improvements
Sioux Corporation continues to improve their line of industry leading all-electric pressure washers and steam cleaners by obtaining additional certifications. Sioux’s explosion-proof pressure washers and steam cleaners are now approved for Class I, Division 1, Group C and D, and Class II, Division 1, Group F and G hazardous environments.
Sioux Corporation has also added third party certification on the full line of EN Series all-electric explosion-proof hot water pressure washers and steam cleaners as well as explosion-proof cold water washers for use in Class I Division 1, Group C and D, and Class II, Division 1, Group F and G hazardous environments. These units are certified to UL 1203, CSA C22.2 #25, and CSA C22.2 #30 safety standards.
Class I, Division 1 environments are areas where ignitable concentrations of flammable gases, vapors, or liquids can exist under normal operating conditions. Class II, Division 1 environments are areas where ignitable concentrations of combustible or conductive dust can exist under normal operating conditions. A unit built to Division 1 standards will also cover areas in Division 2 where ignitable concentrations of combustible or conductive gas or dust are not likely to exist but are possible under normal operating conditions.
