BioSafe Systems is excited to announce the addition of Michael Applewhite to the Meat, Poultry and Seafood (MPS) sales team. Michael’s will be working alongside Russell Owings as a Sales Representative with a focus in Animal Health.

Originally from Mississippi Michael currently lives in Albertville, AL with his wife Hannah, one-year-old daughter Fallon and bulldog Cali. Michael graduated from Mississippi State University’s College of Agriculture and Life Sciences with a B.S. in Poultry Science.

Michael has a strong family history on poultry farms and has continued that trend by working a vast array of jobs in both live-production and processing facilities. He comes to us most recently having worked as a hatchery services technician for Ceva -Biomune.

His education and work experience in the poultry industry makes him a great addition to the BioSafe Systems team. “I am very passionate about the agriculture business and where and how our food gets from farm to plate. I look forward to a long career with BioSafe Systems,” Michael says.

When not spending time with his wife and child, Michael enjoys hunting and chasing rabbits with his and 4 beagles.
