Emil’s Gourmet, an Organic and Natural Deli meat company, celebrated the large expansion to their facility with a Ribbon Cutting ceremony and tour of the new facilities this month.

The property for the expansion was acquired by the City in as part of the American Street Site Assembly Program in 2007. The total investment in the building expansion was $2.5 million and an additional $1.5 million in the new high speed slicing/portion packaging line. The update itself includes a new cooler space, loading docks, trash compactor and enclosed off-street parking.

Speaking of the company’s continued development, Emil’s Gourmet President/CEO Ron Ramstad said, “We are incredibly thrilled at the completion of the expansion project. The updates to the facility itself, as well as the ability this gives us to expand our slicing and packaging line, give us the tools and opportunity to continue growing our Organic and Natural Deli meat products and offerings. We pride ourselves on providing customers with incredibly healthy products backed by state of the art technology monitoring food safety. This expansion gives us the means to continue our ability to do so at the highest level."
