Tyson Fresh Meats, the beef and pork subsidiary of Tyson Foods, Inc., officially launched its Chairman’s Reserve Prime Pork Certified Butcher Program, free of charge to retail partners. The purpose of the program is to educate its partners’ meat departments with knowledge of the brand and its product offerings.

“We know that Chairman’s Reserve Prime Pork customers expect their butchers to be knowledgeable about the product in their meat cases,” said Senior Brand Manager Ozlem Worpel. “We have worked hard to develop this program to ensure our partners receive superior education about the Chairman’s Reserve Prime Pork products, brand history and their attributes.”

The complimentary program is available to customers who carry Chairman’s Reserve Prime Pork. Participation in the training includes reviewing two PowerPoint presentations, watching an educational video featuring Chef Mario Valdovinos and Certified Butcher Jamie Torrez, and successfully completing two short quizzes.

Upon course completion, participants will receive exclusive demonstrations, merchandising strategies and continued education. Successful completion of the training will also entitle participants to exclusive, high-quality merchandise including a Yeti Tumbler, official Certified Butcher hat, certificate and in-store signage.
