Duperon Corporation is pleased to announce that Lorene Bruns has accepted the role of national sales manager of Duperon Corporation. The position, based in Saginaw, Michigan, is a promotion from her former role as Duperon's northeast US regional sales manager. As national sales manager, Bruns will manage Duperon's regional managers and manufacturer sales channels for the company's wastewater and stormwater screening and industrial markets. 

In this new capacity, Bruns reports to Duperon President Mark Turpin, and will be a member of Duperon's Frontline Leadership Team, a group of leaders within the company that are fully engaged in the daily activities of the department as well as managing the team. She will be responsible for monitoring performance, offering direction and training, and sales forecasting.

"In more than a decade with Duperon, Lorene has developed a deep understanding of the company's products and applications. As national sales manager, she'll be able to share this knowledge with her peers and our reps, which will ultimately benefit our customers," commented Duperon president Mark Turpin. "Her dedication to the wastewater industry and her extraordinary energy have been inspiring to me and I have confidence that, with her leadership, our sales team will achieve even greater success in the future."

Bruns, who started with Duperon in 2005 as an inside sales manager/estimator, has demonstrated exceptional leadership within the company, and a deep commitment to the water industry and the local community. She is the chair of the Michigan Water Environment Association Water for People Committee, a board member for Junior Achievement of North Central Michigan, and a charity board member for Jammin4Water. Bruns represents Duperon as a member of Water Environment Federation, Water Environment Association, Michigan Water Environment Association, Pennsylvania Water Environment Association, and the Design Build Institute of America. In addition, Bruns is a member of WEF's Manufacturers & Rep Committee and Industrial Committee.
