Superior Aluminum Series 500 Aluminum Railing protects equipment and visitors

By Industry News
Superior Aluminum Products railing
September 19, 2018

Superior Aluminum Products presents series 500 non-welded aluminum pipe railing protects both equipment and visitors within chemical, food and beverage manufacturing environments. Designed with aesthetics and functionality in mind, this decorative railing is strong, durable and maintenance free, and meets OSHA, ADA and ICC safety criteria. In addition to providing a physical boundary between equipment and visitors, Series 500 railing protects brites, hot kettles, fermenters, storage tanks, and other equipment within its boundaries from wayward forklifts, hand carts and other material handling equipment. Concealed fasteners allow for a smooth surface and create a clean, contemporary design. Available in standard heights of 32”, 36”, 42” and 48” with custom heights upon request. Pre-assembled sections up to 24-feet can be shipped factory-assembled or knocked-down for reassembly. Series 500 non-welded aluminum pipe railing is ideal for craft breweries as well as food and beverage manufacturing, chemical processing and other manufacturing environments.

Posts and top rails for pipe and pipe picket railings are assembled to run in continuous lengths. This is a stronger design than cast tee and cross connections, and it also provides a continuous smooth top rail surface. Pipe pickets are factory assembled with a tight drive-in-fit to the top and bottom rail to ensure squareness and rigidity. Finishes available include baked-on enamel, anodized or duranodic, in white, light brown, green, sandstone, tan, almond, satin anodized, dark bronze and black.

Superior Pipe and Pipe Picket Railings are factory assembled and made to customer specifications. Special curves or pipe radius can easily be fabricated to suit application requirements, yielding on-site fabrication savings. Easily assembled on site with no welding.
