Compact LWE150 Light targets food industry, washdown environments
Smart Vision Lights, a global leader in the design and manufacture of LED illumination for machine vision applications, has released the LWE150 linear washdown light. Half the size of SVL’s LW300 and ODLW300 washdown lights, the compact LWE150 features a 316 stainless steel enclosure specifically designed for food industry and washdown environments where water and corrosive materials such as harsh detergents are present.
The IP68-rated light includes a built-in Multi-Drive driver, which allows the light to work in continuous operation or OverDrive strobe mode. Two stainless steel tabs welded directly to the housing enable simple yet versatile mounting options. An optional linear polarizer reduces reflections on specular (dielectric and nonmetallic) surfaces.
Other features include an industry-standard 5-pin M12 connector that makes for simple wiring and a 1–10V DC analog signal line to control the LWE150’s intensity.
