Kettle Range Meat Co. LLC, which opened a meat processing facility in Wauwatosa, Wis. in 2016, has announced plans for a second facility in Elm Grove. The 1,200-square-foot building, formerly a Subway restaurant, will include a retail area that will sell cheeses, charcuterie and ready-made meals, reports the Milwaukee Business News.

The new location will have some room for fresh meat cutting and sausage aging, but any larger processing will take place in Wauwatosa, said owner Mark Bearce. Bearce is seeking a $270,000 loan from the Milwaukee Economic Development Corp. to help launch the store, which targets a mid-summer opening.
