Douglas’ new robotic metering reduces maintenance and improves simplicity
Douglas is pleased to announce a design improvement applying its proven SCARA robot technology to the metering system on Contour 60‐Series machines. A single robotic arm uses Rockwell controls and replaces linear motors from the previous metering design. Customers are provided with enhanced durability, lower maintenance costs and improved accessibility, simplicity and efficiency.
