Nonprofit organization Paralyzed Veterans of America recently received a donation of $75,000 from family-run online meat retailer Good Ranchers during the Children's of Alabama Indy Grand Prix Race at Barber Motorsports Park in Birmingham, Ala. The donation will assist those living with spinal cord injuries and diseases, like MS and ALS.
"Partners like Good Ranchers amplify the impact of our mission, enabling us to support paralyzed and disabled veterans across the country more effectively," said Carl Blake, US Army veteran and chief executive officer of PVA. "As we wrap up our first year of the partnership, we are grateful to Good Ranchers not only for this donation but also for their unwavering commitment to improving the quality of life for the brave men and women who have served and sacrificed so much."
Beyond this donation, Good Ranchers remains committed to continuing to support PVA and the veterans they serve well into the future. As part of this ongoing partnership, Good Ranchers is offering a 10% lifetime discount on every subscription for veterans, as well as active-duty military and their families.
