Thomas Foods International purchases former Tyson facility in Florida

Meat and seafood provider Thomas Foods International USA recently acquired the former Tyson Foods plant in Northwest Jacksonville, Fla., for $3.55 million.
This news was originally reported by the Jacksonville Daily Record.
In August 2025, the Jacksonville City Council approved an $800,000 city incentive to redevelop the former processing plant, code-named Project Pan. This acquisition by Thomas Foods International signals that the city’s incentives are being fulfilled.
