(IRI), a worldwide provider of consumer, shopper, and retail market intelligence and insights. The IRI award is a reflection of dollar sales of all new food and beverage products in the United States for the first half of the calendar year as tracked by IRI. Healthy Choice Café Steamers also ranked in the top 2 percent of all successful product introductions over the past five years, according to IRI.
The IRI award is based on a review of all new food and beverage products introduced into the marketplace between February of 2007 and July of 2007. To be considered, new products must achieve and maintain at least 30 percent ACV distribution in the food and beverage channel and must earn a minimum of $7.5 million in net sales at the end of their first year in market.
