Perdue Farms introduces its Deli Select product line in a new vacuum slider package. Perdue has partnered with Multivac and Pactiv’s Hefty® Slide-Rite® Products Group to bring this innovation and convenience to its Deli Select product offering.

The package will be the first of its kind offering a complete seal around the header for sanitation, a Hermetic Tamper Evident Track for food safety inside the package, and Pactiv’s new ergonomic slider, designed for use in vacuum packages. The package also incorporates an easily-removable scored header, which exposes the slider for easy consumer access. The product will be available in late 2005.
