A group of California grass-fed ranchers who raise cattle for Panorama Meats Inc. has received organic certification for a total of 55,000 acres of privately owned and leased grasslands in Northern California, on which to raise Panorama Organic Grass-Fed Beef™. The company is made up of 43 family ranchers in California, Nevada, Oregon and Washington who raise Angus cattle on natural grasses, legumes and range forage.

Cargill Meat Solutions has launched www.berksupreme.com , a Web site that enables foodservice and retail customers to order whole portions of Berkshire pork. Chefs and butchers can order Cargill’s pork and cut it to their specifications, based on their own customers’ preference. Customers can receive “fresh frozen” products within two days or “fresh never frozen” products shipped in as little as nine days. Those products are processed as they are ordered.
