Cantrell has named Joe Cosper as account manager for the Southeast Region. Cosper brings an extensive engineering background to Cantrell, a poultry and food processing equipment sales and service company. He has nearly 15 years of engineering and project management experience in the poultry processing equipment industry. Cosper will serve Cantrell customers in Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, eastern Tennessee and southeastern Alabama.

Ross Industries Inc. has appointed Cecilie Martinez O’Gara as salesperson for the company’s South Central Territory. This region includes Colorado, Kansas, Missouri, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Texas and Louisiana. In this position, she will represent the company’s entire line of food processing and tenderizing equipment. O’Gara comes to Ross Industries with a wealth of industry sales experience, business development and territory management. She worked most recently at CFS as regional sales manager and prior to that with APV, also as regional sales manager.

Intelligrated, an automated material handling solutions provider, announces the recent appointment of Kevin O’Reilly to the position of sales engineer II for the company’s Somerset, N.J.-based eastern regional operation. In his new position, O’Reilly will be responsible for sales in the region under the direction of Eric Palotas, vice president of eastern regional operations for Intelligrated. O’Reilly will also provide sales, concepting, estimating, engineering and client relation services.

Interstate Warehousing is expanding its Hamilton, Ohio facility. The 90,000-square-foot expansion, which began January 2011, is expected to be completed in May. The current facility is approximately 350,000 square feet. Interstate Warehousing’s Hamilton facility is known for its large freight consolidation program, and the expansion is a result of the growth of multiple customers. The expansion will add 11,500 pallet positions, 19 new dock doors, and will also create 25 new full-time jobs at the facility.

Foodmate US Inc. is the new distributor of Netherlands-based Foodmate B.V.’s poultry processing equipment in North America. Scott Hazenbroek will serve as president of Foodmate US. He has more than 15 years of experience in the processing equipment business, having worked for companies in both the U.S. and Europe.

At a ceremony held in Las Vegas during its 65th annual MeatExpo conference, the National Meat Association awarded its 2011 Supplier of the Year award to Multivac Inc. The Supplier of the Year is selected from a list of nominations submitted by NMA general members, firms that have close interaction with suppliers throughout the year.
