Weber Inc. has invited processors using its slicing systems to attend Sanitation Symposium III, a three-day learning and leadership event at its North American headquarters on October 9-11.

Seminar presentations will be led by numerous food safety experts and are intended to share and further develop industry best practices, while also building cross-company networks to solve mutual problems related to hygienic operations.

According to Norbert Muehlich, vice president, “North American processors have posted a remarkable record of safety since our last Symposium in 2011, but this is not time to be complacent. The challenges of pathogen-free processing are ever changing and the best practices our speakers will discuss and share can help even the most successful companies stay vigilant.”

In addition to expert presentations and small-group discussions, live demonstrations of both steam cleaning and wet cleaning will be conducted. There is no cost for Weber machine owners to attend the event.
